New branding for a special series of the DumpStat show. Inspired by classic tabletop booklets and horror movie posters that clap in front of your face to wake your eyes up. I really enjoyed the realm of simplicity, like working in ancient Apple typesetting software. The "m" and the "w" have had their negative spaces adjusted so I could violently stretch the letterforms.
I also led the audio production from recording and editing to final release. This surprise podcast episode for Halloween 2020 resulted in a 200% audience boost for the following month, with fan art and discussion surrounding the episode to this day.
This is a promotional artwork for a special podcast episode. The wordmark and background are used for promotion across social media, podcast platforms, and future apparel plans. I backed my motion typography with my own musical beds for countdown and release videos in 9:16 and 1:1 (square). This is currently for digital formatting only, but I planned its use to be viable for print and merch.
